Wirefox Grow Property Portfolio With £41M Acquisition.

This is the latest in a string of major Scottish office space acquisitions by Wirefox.

In November 2016, the firm acquired the Rockford portfolio, comprising 6 office buildings in and around Glasgow city centre, for £35M. This was soon followed by the £17.35M purchase of Silvan House in Edinburgh, currently let to the Scottish Government. And subsequently, the £43.5M procurement, in August 2017, of Capella office building in Glasgow.

At Davidson McDonnell, we have represented Wirefox in all four listed transactions, as well as their £123M acquisition of CastleCourt shopping centre in July 2017, one of the largest single asset property transactions to have occurred in Northern Ireland in recent years.

Davidson McDonnell Director, Ross Davidson, said “We are delighted to be representing Wirefox in what is another high-profile acquisition.

Every investment Wirefox makes reinforces their position as a leading property and investment firm and we are proud to provide legal advice to them, throughout the growth of their UK property portfolio”.

City Park is the former W.D. and H.O. Wills tobacco and cigar factory. It underwent comprehensive redevelopment in 2002 and current occupiers include Dell and Glasgow City Council.
