Kirsten Magee
Kirsten is a Legal Director in our Dispute Resolution team.
Kirsten has over 20 years’ experience representing public and private sector clients in a range of complex, high value cases. She qualified and practised in Scotland before relocating to Northern Ireland in 2008. She is recognised as a leader in her field and has particular expertise in emergency injunction applications, breach of contract/negligence claims, IP disputes and health and safety investigations/Coronial Inquests.
Recent experience includes:
Acting for an industry Regulator in relation to a complex application for judicial review.
Advising a company whose former employee had taken and utilised sensitive commercial information in breach of confidence and obtaining a novel Imaging Order allowing evidence from the Defendant’s mobile phone and laptop to be preserved.
Acting for the purchaser of a company in a multi-million pound claim for breach of various warranties contained in the relevant Share Purchase Agreement.
Defending a substantial claim for trade mark infringement/passing off.
Representing the manufacturer of a pneumatic roller which was involved in a fatal accident, in both the Coronial Inquest and related civil proceedings.
