Barbara leads the Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution team. Barbara has in excess of 20 years post qualification experience in commercial disputes.  Barbara has recently advised:

• A company owned by hundreds of shareholders from across Ireland in a significant, successful dispute with former directors.

• Shareholders in a successful application seeking Leave to bring a derivative action and a Wallersteiner Order.

• A major house building company in successfully resolving a complex land dispute.

• Successfully concluding a product liability dispute.

• In complex landlord and tenant disputes.

• Several clients in bringing significant professional and medical negligence actions.

Barbara is known for her highly commercial, down-to-earth approach, having successfully managed some of Northern Ireland’s most complex and novel cases.  She has a proven track record of obtaining excellent results in complicated disputes.  She is dual-qualified to practise in Northern Ireland and England and Wales, and holds a certificate in Advanced Advocacy.
