Rachael McKee
Rachael has over 25 years’ experience of Private Client practice areas, with particular expertise in matrimonial and family matters, wills and administration of estate, as well as personal injury litigation.
Prior to joining Davidson McDonnell in 2022 Rachael worked at a senior level in a number of Belfast firms which has allowed her to hone her expertise and develop a number of beneficial working relationships with fellow practitioners and agencies. The highlights of Rachael’s legal career have been:
Representing Northern Ireland in the International Client Consultation Competition in Sydney in 2007 winning the inaugural Spirit of the Competition Award.
Acting as lead solicitor in an appeal to the Supreme Court in London in 2013 (PPS v Elliott and McKee [2013] UKSC 32
Rachael specialises in:
matrimonial cases including negotiating clean break agreements and divorce and ancillary relief proceedings
family matters including residence and contact arrangements for children
personal injury litigation
wills and administration of estates
Rachael graduated from University of Ulster in 2005 top of her year with 1st class honours. She completed her professional training at IPLS Belfast, graduating with distinction in 2007.
